Returns for Soft Commodities Haven’t Been This Bad Since 1986

So much for sugar demand being insulated from the pandemic. A gauge that tracks returns for that market plus cotton and coffee -- the so-called soft commodities -- is on pace for its worst quarter since 1986.

Technically Cotton market is under fresh selling as market has witnessed gain in open interest by 0.13% to settled at 6026 while prices down 350 rupees. Now MCX Cotton is getting support at 16020 and below same could see a test of 15840 levels, and resistance is now likely to be seen at 16510, a move above could see prices testing 16820.
