Prevalence of anemia among women of reproductive age (% of women ages 15-49) in Ukraine was 17.70 as of 2019. Its highest value over the past 19 years was 17.70 in 2019, while its lowest value was 13.40 in 2001.

Definition: Prevalence of anemia among women of reproductive age refers to the combined prevalence of both non-pregnant with haemoglobin levels below 12 g/dL and pregnant women with haemoglobin levels below 11 g/dL.

Prevalence of anemia among children (% of children under 5) in Ukraine was 25.60 as of 2019. Its highest value over the past 19 years was 27.80 in 2000, while its lowest value was 23.40 in 2012.

Definition: Prevalence of anemia, children under age 5, is the percentage of children under age 5 whose hemoglobin level is less than 110 grams per liter at sea level.
