Definition: Manufactures comprise commodities in SITC sections 5 (chemicals), 6 (basic manufactures), 7 (machinery and transport equipment), and 8 (miscellaneous manufactured goods), excluding division 68 (non-ferrous metals).

Description: The map below shows how Manufactures exports (% of merchandise exports) varies by country in South America. The shade of the country corresponds to the magnitude of the indicator. The darker the shade, the higher the value. The country with the highest value in the region is Brazil, with a value of 25.04. The country with the lowest value in the region is Guyana, with a value of 1.52.
