I was happy to see that my <a href=\"http:\/\/mit.edu\/\">alma matter<\/a> is very well represented by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voxeu.org\/index.php?q=node\/63\">Olivier Blanchard<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voxeu.org\/index.php?q=node\/47\">Giuseppe Bertola<\/a>,&#160; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voxeu.org\/index.php?q=node\/102\">Jeffrey Frankel<\/a>, and others.<\/p>\n<p>If you are paying particular attention to the explosive rise of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indexmundi.com\/commodities\/?commodity=commodity-price-index\">commodity prices<\/a> (see graph below), take a few minutes to read the articles written by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voxeu.org\/index.php?q=node\/1243\">Guillermo Calvo<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voxeu.org\/index.php?q=node\/1244\">Exploding commodity prices, lax monetary policy, and sovereign wealth funds<\/a> &#8211; and by Jeffrey Frankel &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.voxeu.org\/index.php?q=node\/1002\">An Explanation for Soaring Commodity Prices<\/a>.
