New York Harbor Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel

New York Harbor Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) is the new standard for highway diesel fuel in the United States since December, 2010. It is physically delivered at different New York Harbor fuel stations. New York is one of two key trading centers in the cash market for diesel.

New York Harbor Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel futures are traded at the NYMEX under ticker symbol LH. Contract size is 42,000 gallons (1,000 barrels) quoted in U.S. dollars and cents per gallon. Delivery takes place all calendar months. Contract settled by physical delivery.
