New York Harbor Ethanol is denatured fuel ethanol that must conform to standard specification ASTM D4806 and shall meet any state requirements at the time and place of delivery. It is delivered F.O.B. at the seller’s terminal facility in New York Harbor. New York Harbor is a key hub for the import, storage and distribution of ethanol on the East Coast.
New York Harbor futures trade at the NYMEX under ticker symbol QE. Contract size is 1,000 US barrels quoted in US Dollars and Cents per barrel. Settlement is done by physical delivery.
